Art You Can Build: LEGO’s Van Gogh Sunflowers

LEGO teamed up with the Van Gogh Museum to turn one of the world’s most famous paintings - Sunflowers - into a set you can actually build. It’s part of their growing series that turns classic art into something hands-on.

The set has over 2,600 pieces and re-creates Van Gogh’s bold, textured brushstrokes using bricks. The colors are rich and the build is detailed, with special pieces that mimic the flowers’ layered look. You don’t need to be an art expert to enjoy it, just someone who appreciates a good build and wants something different for their shelf.

This isn’t a toy in the traditional sense. It’s something in between art and design - a way to slow down and connect with a painting most of us have only seen in books or on walls. And the museum didn’t just slap its name on the box. They worked with LEGO to get the details right.

If you’re into creative sets or just want something a little more meaningful than a typical display piece, this one’s worth a look. It feels personal and fun, but still has that wow factor when it’s done.
