Lili Toys, the creator of GIGI’s Dream Universe, has announced a custom toy show! Fifteen artists have confirmed their participation in the event this December, which will take place at the Christmas Toys and Collectibles Fair in the Philippines. Beyond being a delight for toy lovers and Gigi fans, the event has a benevolent purpose: a portion of the proceeds will go toward covering the medical and recovery needs of an unnamed individual. Dreams should—and they shall—come true!Gigi, the character created by Lili Toys, was introduced in March this year. She is a dreamy, lovable girl with a colorful raincoat and a bright smile who leads an ordinary life by day but escapes to a wondrous world of adventure every night. One of the custom pieces (by Wetworks) has already been revealed, showing Gigi’s innocent look intriguingly contrasted by the metal pipe in her hands, giving the composition subtly violent undertones. It seems Gigi is ready to take on the monsters under the bed—and there’s more to come!
