Doktor A - Comic Con edition
Today is the second day of the Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) 2022 in Abu Dhabi! On the 2nd day at MEFCC 2022, various workshops, screenings, celebrities, cosplay, art, games and much more will be held!
Dedicated to Comic Con 2022, Bruce Whistlecraft, British toy-maker and artist, also known as Doktor A, made for Chiko&Roko the Verdigris edition of the Waverly figurine. He has become synonymous with the creation of Victorian Futurist-style Robot characters. His popular ongoing Mechtorians series unravels the story of the retrobotic realm of Retropolis. Doktor A created a unique toy for us in the style of this series. And here's how the author described it:
«Waverly Crabapple has worms in his clockwork!
A pair of brothers to be precise.
They took up residency some time ago and now refuse to leave.
They offer constant advice to Waverly.
Whether he wants it or not.
One whispers good things the other bad.
What type of apple will Waverly turn out to be?»
