The Koniakow lace is an important folk handicraft. Unique technique originated from the Poland village has inspired the author of this souvenir design, NeSpoon. She writes: “For visualization, I used the thinnest ligature of Koniakow lace, which should look like a small flower bud rolled into a ball on a leaf in the forest. Miniature fluorescent lamps should float around a lace bud. After a while, this bud opens and begins to break off the leaf. All the fireflies are dancing around this lace. Lace rises on leaves in the forest. After a while, the lace rises higher and higher, and at night you can only see the dark sky, and the lace itself rises and rises up, flying into the sky. Miniature fireflies are dancing around. Its color symbol is the flag of the European Union.”
