Para-Biathlon Gold Edition
Paralympic Biathlon demands extreme concentration, physical strength, and pinpoint accuracy. In the Winter Paralympic Games, it is one of two Nordic skiing disciplines. At Innsbruck 1988, biathlon made its debut as a competition for athletes with physical disabilities. Sportsmen with vision impairments became eligible in 1992. The athletes shoot a laser beam at the target while using a weapon that employs sound to signal how accurate their aim is.
