Panda Day Green Edition
The panda is the oldest living bear species, having existed for about 20 million years. While its population is progressively expanding, the giant panda is still one of the world's rarest and most endangered animals. The unique black and white creature is a national treasure in China and has acted as the symbol of the World Wildlife Fund since its establishment in 1961. They're immensely popular, so much so that in the 1980s, a Taiwanese zoo even painted a sun bear black and white in an attempt to pass it off as a giant panda!
