About toy
There are many mysteries surrounding Leonardo da Vinci's painting, The Lady with the Ermine. Some believe that the ancient Greek name of the beast is etymologically related to the name of the depicted lady's genus. Someone insists the ermine symbolizes chastity. Or that the lady's lover was a member of the Order of the Ermine... There is one more version: an ermine can be stuffed to catch pesky insects. But while we are listing all these versions, the tiny beast managed to escape from the lady's hands. Catch it before it runs away!
This figurine is a part of the World Art collection. Keep an eye out for masterpieces!
