About toy
A Maltese flag is painted on the figurine. It wears the national costume as well as the Gonnella, a traditional Maltese women's hat. The Gonnella has been worn by practically all adult Maltese women for centuries. It was so popular that several seamstresses dedicated their entire careers to designing, cutting, and sewing them. Unfortunately, it quickly fell out of favor by the end of the 1950s, and it is now rarely seen. The national dress of Malta, on the other hand, has escaped this fate and is proudly worn for festivities such as the Feast of Santa Marija. The dress has a red and white color pattern, as well as a lot of lace detailing.
