About toy
The design of the figurine refers to the flag of the country and the Yalda night festival. This ancient Iranian celebration takes place every year on the night of December 21 to 22 and has been celebrated for 7,000 years. The festival represents the symbolic victory of light over darkness, for after the night of Yalda the days gradually lengthen. The foods on the night of Yalda are pomegranates, watermelons, pistachios, and various nuts and raisins. The watermelon represented the sun, and it was believed that if you eat watermelon, all diseases will go away. The fresh fruit and dried fruits that adorned the table symbolized the expectation of spring and harvest, as well as the hope, for nights in light and purity.
