So, what haven't we marked on the calendar yet? Maybe soup? Oh, no, we're already celebrating it on April 5th! Soup is easy, cheap and usually quick to make and can be stuffed full of healthy vegetables. There are approximately 150 types of soups in the world, which are subdivided into over a thousand types, each with variations. Thus, a researcher of the culinary arts pointed out 24 variants of cabbage soup and 18 variants of fish soup. While this day does not discriminate between flavors of soup, it does offer an occasion to celebrate. So, rather than opening that can of dull, bland soup, it's time to be creative! This is a day to celebrate a delicious, nutritious bowl of homemade soup!
