About toy
What could possibly go wrong when you're selling an artwork by the world's most famous countercultural rebel artist at a prestigious auction? Basically, everything! On October 5, 2018, at Sotheby’s auction, Banksy’s iconic “Girl with Balloon”, which had been estimated at £300,000, soared to an unprecedented $1.4 million. Then, after announcing the sale of the painting, with the final blow of the auctioneer's hammer, the shredder built into the frame cut it into small strips. Banksy posted a photo of the episode on Instagram, accompanying it with the words the auctioneer usually utters: "Going, going, gone..."
This toy is a part of the World Art collection. Keep an eye out for masterpieces!
