The new figurine from the World Art collection is inspired by Piet Mondrian's abstract compositions. The artist achieved the quintessence of abstraction, using only basic colors and shapes. Mondrian himself called this style neoplasticism. In the 1930s, French designer Lola Prusak used Mondrian's style to create Hermès handbags and suitcases. In the 1960s, Yves Saint Laurent was inspired by the artist's neoplastic works and created a whole series of dresses with abstract geometric patterns. Modrian inspires not only designers and artists but also programmers. There is a programming language called Piet, a program written in the language, which looks like a mosaic of colored squares. We, too, were inspired by the artist and created a figurine for our art collection.
