Freestyle skiing is an acrobatic kind of skiing that can be subdivided into several disciplines. It began to gain popularity in the 1960s and early 1970s. However, some critics believed that this type of skiing was too risky and that it should not be included in the Olympic Games. Free-form sport is dangerous and has few restrictions. Despite frequent injuries, freestylers fearlessly return to the track and rocket into the air like superheroes in pursuit of Olympic awards!
