About toy
This lady's name was Marie-Thérèse Walter, and she became a Seated Woman by Picasso in 1937. Yes, it’s a portrait! The cubist geometrical techniques of this image provide a sense of movement and depth. The bright colors of this work create a vibrant environment. Some think that his muses resemble playing card symbols, such as a King, Queen, or Jack. But our figure is definitely the ace of trumps! Picasso once said: "I can only appreciate my sculptures by seeing them in your photographs... They give me a chance to look at my own work from the outside...". Here you go, artist!
This figurine is a part of the World Art collection. Keep an eye out for masterpieces!
