About toy
Luno is the mascot of the legendary Moscow store Lunohod-1. From 2005 to 2010, the store sold designer toys from a variety of authors and manufacturers from America, Europe, and Asia. The store organized many cultural initiatives – exhibitions, lectures, master classes, participated in design fairs and in every possible way promoted modern character design.
In 2011 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first manned space flight the figurine was released in limited edition. Funds from the sale of the exclusive red version were donated to the recovery efforts of the Fukushima tsunami.
