About toy

Even though the sled has been used as a form of transportation for ages, the sport of bobsleigh did not emerge until the late 1800s, when the Swiss fitted a steering mechanism to a toboggan. What is the origin of the term "bobsledding"? Before sliding down the run, they bob their sled on the ice. Bobsledders use a back-and-forth rocking method — literally bobbing — to boost the sled's speed before taking off, which gave the sport its name. Bobsledding is just wild. It's one of the fastest sports on the planet, but it's also one of the riskiest. Competitive bobsledders slide down an ice run in a two-person or four-person sled and sprint to the finish line. The four-person event made its Olympic debut at the 1924 Olympic Winter Games in Chamonix, France.
