About toy
This monster is actually just a costume from the biggest and most important festival in Barbados, Crop Over, which celebrates the end of the sugarcane harvest. Participants often dress up in themed costumes with colorful feathers, beaded necklaces, and make-up in the flag‘s colors: blue and yellow. A mix between a Barbadian tradition that mimics and parodies the Royal Navy and the exotic Caribbean culture. The symbol at the top represents the Trident of the mythical sea god, Neptune.
